—that’s the Lombard way!

Meet Your Hosts

At Albert House Guesthouse, you’ll be welcomed with true Karoo hospitality by Wentzel and Lani Lombard. Having farmed from 1985 until 2021, they understand the beauty of a warm, inviting atmosphere—something they now bring to their guesthouse.

Wentzel, a lifelong Cradock resident, has always called this town home. After retiring from farming, he embraced a new journey as the host of Albert House, where he now shares his love for the Karoo with every guest who walks through the door. His deep-rooted knowledge of the area and warm, down-to-earth nature make every stay feel personal and memorable.

Lani and Wentzel take pride in creating a peaceful, home-away-from-home experience, where guests can unwind in the heart of Cradock. Whether you're visiting for a short stay or an extended getaway, they are always ready to share stories, offer local recommendations, and ensure you feel right at home.
